For US Healthcare Professionals

For undiagnosed patients with IgG4-RD, time is of the essence4

  • Patients with IgG4-RD may experience diagnostic uncertainty for a period lasting from months to years4
  • ~6 out of 10 patients with IgG4-RD may have irreversible organ damage by the time they've secured a diagnosis2

Even when diagnosed, the course of IgG4-RD is uncertain2,5

  • As many as 9 out of 10 patients with IgG4-RD may relapse within 3 years, while either tapering a steroid (26% to 40%) or after steroid withdrawal (46% to 54%)5
  • Some relapses of IgG4-RD are asymptomatic and only evident on diagnostic imaging2

Living with IgG4-RD poses an ongoing challenge6,7

  • IgG4-RD can affect multiple aspects of a patient's life, impacting work, the ability to engage, and self-identity6,7
